B4.6. Session Overview - A plan for the management of OUD: Recovery Housing

This session introduces medical students to Recovery Housing services. Ideally, students participating in this session will recognize recovery housing as a viable, population health treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Instructional Strategy: Discussion, Demonstration, 1.5 hours

Learning Objectives

  1. Evaluate the impact of recovery housing availability on patients’ successful recovery; 
  2. Refer patients to recovery housing services available in the local area; 
  3. Incorporate recovery housing into treatment plans for patients. ​
