This session will provide a 50-minute overview of MAT for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorders

Instructional Strategy: Lecture, 1 hour

Learning Objectives

1. List three FDA-approved medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorders (OUD). 
2. Discuss mechanism of action, adverse effects, side effects, and proper dosage for each medication used to treat OUD.  
3. Review federal and state regulations that apply to each medication used to treat OUD.
