This session introduces learners to foundational concepts of Quality Improvement (QI) and its historical foundations. The Lean Six Sigma framework will be described, as well as the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) cycle. Lastly, a role-playing exercise is used to demonstrate the processes involved in team-based decision-making.
