TOPIC: What to Do When Medical Literature is Conflicting or NOT Available (panel discussion)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • At the end of the presentation, students will be able to discuss strategies for handling clinical scenarios when the medical literature is not available or unclear.
  • At the end of the panel discussion, students will be able to: discuss examples of problem-solving skills used by the clinicians on the panel 

Clinicians and a M3 student will discuss situations where the evidence has been conflicting or absent. Discussion will include how they handled these patient cases.
