Important Announcement: The New Library System and updated E-resource login process are Here!. As part of OhioLINK, Ohio's academic library consortium, the NEOMED Library is updating its 30-year-old shared systems. The new system allows researchers to "discover" print and electronic resources with a single search. Click here to start using the new system. Additionally, we have also changed the way that you all will login for off-campus access to the electronic resources provided by the NEOMED Library. AT THE END OF THE SESSION, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Discuss the clinician’s role in clinical questions & responses

  • Describe the 7-step modified approach to answering clinical questions

  • Practice the PP-ICO approach to create your clinical question

  • Review the clinical question assignment for this course

  • Evaluate the clinical literature using PPICONS and the 7-Step Approach to answer clinical question.  

  • Learn with, from, and about each other’s professions

  • Develop a response to a clinical question as a member of an interprofessional team 

  • Collaborate as an interprofessional team to give an oral presentation 

  • Provide formative feedback to group members to enhance future performance
