HS Journal Club Assignment Guide: Rubric

This guide is focused on the journal club presentation assignment in the EBM I and II courses.

Announcements

Because it is a Zoom session, we will not require students to wear white coats and ID badges, Students are required to wear semi-professional attire.
HS students: A video example of a P4 giving a journal club can be found in the HS CANVAS site (see March 15th). She also has a second video explaining how she made decisions about how to do her presentation. She also provided an example of a handout. Please note handouts are optional.

Passing Grade

The HS assignment is worth 32 points. Pass/Fall grade is given. The group must receive a 70% or higher to pass the assignment.
COM Students: Groups who fail the assignment will need to give a second presentation for the course directors. The grade for the second presentation will be the group's final grade for the assignment.

HS Rubric - Zoom version (Spring 2023) updated 4-12-2023
This version rubric has been altered since we do not require white coats and name badges for Zoom presentations. Students are required to wear semi-professional attire for the presentations.
