Amy Lee--Not really a “public health” book, but talks about the influence of technology on our society—has implications on health in the U.S. and global health.

Amy Lee--An intriguing story of Paul Farmer, who made a difference in global health. It makes me think that we can always do more!

Amy Lee--An oldie, but a goodie! Translation—how to get along with friends, family and co-workers and get things done! It is suprising that when I talk about this book in a group setting, there is always someone in the group that has this book on their shelf!

Amy Lee-A classic from the Harvard Negotiation Project. I have this on audio--it illustrates great techniques on using "principled negotiation" where you use standard criteria as a way to help you get what you want. It also discusses the concept of your "BATNA"--the best alternative to a negotiated agreement. Find out why the side with the better BATNA is often the most powerful!

Amy Lee--Another great book from the Harvard Negotiation Project. It has some great tips on handling difficult conversations!

Amy Lee-I was inspired about the stories in this book—people have the ability to change the behaviors of individuals and communities. Although it is not specifically geared toward health, there are many public health examples (including eradicating guinea worm, decreasing the incidence of HIV in Thailand, etc.)!

Amy Lee--This is a book by a psychiatrist who offer techniques (and physiological explanations) of how to get through to people.

Amy Lee--This is great follow up to "Getting to Yes." The author is the co-founder of Harvard's Program on Negotiation. It is clearly written with very useable techniques of getting people to see your way in a negotiation!

Amy Lee--I really enjoy the books that Dr. Keck recommends to me. A number of books on my list came from his suggestions. I just finished this one--an intriguing look at our energy future.

Amy Lee--I just started this one. Dr. Keck recommended this one to me last year. T.R. Reid compares the different types of health care systems around the world.
