What e-resources do I have access to as a faculty/staff member?
Don't know who to contact? Best ways to contact us:
The help desk and library phones have been forwarded to staff working remotely. Staff will be available to assist you from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please, if possible, enter a Work Ticket for help desk service – sign-in in the top right corner on the linked page. This will help us to expeditiously route your request to the best service manager to resolve the issue.
The Library offers a variety of services to all NEOMED faculty & staff. We offer free appointments that can be scheduled with a librarian (visit our consult form to schedule one now via Zoom). Specifically, your reference librarian can help with the following
Literature Searching - We can help you locate the latest evidence for research projects, instruction, administrative duties, and publications. Meet with us online to learn how to search using controlled vocabularies and keywords in a variety of biomedical databases, or request a search for relevant results on your topic.
Instruction & Curriculum Support (please view our page to learn more)
Research Datasets and Gray Literature - Contact us if you need to find statistics, data sets, or gray literature.
Find Funding and Potential Research Collaborators - We can advise on how to find government and private funding sources, how to communicate your research accomplishments in an NIH Biosketch profile, and we can point to areas of research occurring on and off-campus to assist with potential research projects.
Citation Management - Citation management tools are programs that collect records or citations from research databases (indexes, catalogs, etc.) that you can then organize for your research projects. We provide training in how to set up and use Zotero and EndNote software.
Comprehensive Literature Review Support - Contact us if you are working on a long-term thesis or research project requiring a comprehensive literature review. We can either help devise a search strategy which will more accurately and efficiently find what has been published on a topic, or we can have the reference librarian run a comprehensive search for you.
Please contact srobins@neomed.edu for assistance.

This interlibrary loan service is provided through ILLIAD. You may register for ILLIAD at: https://neomed.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/. NEOMED affiliation will be verified before article requests will be filled.
Articles will be delivered to your ILLIAD account and will be accessible for 30 days. You are free to download and save a copy of this article in PDF form from your account within those 30 days. Please email ill@neomed.edu with questions.
See the attached registration instructions below for how to request articles.
