Medical Ethics & Humanities Resources

How do I access NEOMED Library collections when I'm off campus?

Authentication is required to view library resources when off-campus, including databases.

To locate resources:

  • Select an appropriate database for your topic (e.g., PubMed, Cochrane, PsycINFO, etc) from our A-Z page. Click on the link for a particular database within our A-Z page.
  • A new window should open with a login page (pictured below)
  • At the Login page, type your NEOMED credentials.
  • You will also need the Microsoft Authenticator

On-Line Form to Report Access Problems

If you encounter problems accessing our library electronic resources, please fill out this:   FORM.

Register and Log in

Look for this icon on the page:

NEOMED Library Icon

When you see this icon, you have access to the resource.

N.B. Some e-resource vendors do not allow us to upload the NEOMED Library branding to their sites. If you encounter problems, please use the FORM.

If you see links to "Sign In" or "Register," THESE ARE OPTIONAL.

Registering and subsequently signing in, however, often allow you to personalize your use of the resource, for example:

  • Save your searches
  • Receive alerts for new search results
  • Personalize the homepage

Also, be aware that some resources require setting up a free account to access additional content, such as "Access Pharmacy"

Lastly, if you see sign-in's for OpenAthens or Shibboleth, IGNORE them.

If you have additional questions or issues, please use the FORM.
