AT THE END OF THE LECTURE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
- Use information mastery resources to help evaluate the literature and answer clinical questions
- Describe and use resources designed to help clinicians search for medical evidence and evaluate evidence
- Discuss how FRISBEE can be used to determine the validity of a research article
- Describe the barriers of evidence based medicine
- Describe the +AllTrials movement and its importance to clinicians and patients
- Explain how the COMPARE Project and OpenTrials could impact patient care.
