TOPIC: Prognosis (Association, Correlation, and Regression)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
AT THE END OF THE LECTURE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
- Describe 2 measures of association
- Explain how regression might be used to help in the prognosis of a disease
- Interpret a regression coefficient
- Explain the importance of adjusting for multiple variables
- Distinguish between main and interaction effects
