Library Tools to Keep You Informed of New Research

by Unknown User on 2018-01-16T09:05:59-05:00 in Biomedical Research, Evidence-based Medicine, General & Multidisciplinary, Medicine & Health, Pharmacy, Psychology | 0 Comments

Keeping up-to-date or staying current in your field of research is becoming increasingly difficult as the amount of information available grows exponentially and the number of tools available increases. The Aneal Mohan Kohli Academic and Information Technology Center has created a Current Awareness Services guide to assist you in this process. These services allow items from tables of contents to be sent automatically to your email or an RSS feed. Alerts may also be created for specific topics/keywords, authors, journal titles and even alert you when an article has been cited. Step by step instructions have been provided from creating alerts in EBSCOhost databases, Essential Evidence Plus, OhioLink Electronic Journal Center (EJC), PubMed, Science Direct and Web of Science.

Please request a consultation or email refdesk@neomed.edu to learn more about this service or for help setting up an alert.
