Steps to Writing a Literature Review
- Define your research question
- Choose search terms (using both keywords and subject headings, whenever possible)
- Choose databases
- Run practice protocol
- Survey preliminary results
- Develop inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Run final protocol
- De-duplicate results
- Screen results
- Title/abstract screening
- Full-text screening
- Synthesize results
- Write up your findings
