How Do You...

This "How Do You" guide answers common library questions, such as how to find information on a topic, request a book, get material from another campus, cite resources, or access information from off-campus!

Off-Campus Access for NEOMED Resources

All electronic resources are available without authentication while on the NEOMED campus or while visiting the affiliated hospital libraries.

Authentication is required to view library resources when off-campus.

To locate resources:

  1.  Search the online catalog for the title.
  2.  Select the off-campus link when viewing the item in the online catalog.
  3.  At the Login page, type your name and library barcode and click on the submit button.

If you need to discover resources for your topic, you can use the A-Z list to search for e-books/e-journals, or the library database list to browse for resources indexing articles in your subject area. You will be asked to authenticate with your name and library barcode if you are off-campus.

Please contact the library in person or by calling 330.325.6600 during normal business hours to request your barcode.
