LexisNexis Academic has been replaced by a new product with a more intuitive search platform: Nexis Uni.  Nexis Uni features more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790.

It provides:

  • Comprehensive, authoritative news content, including current coverage and deep archives
  • Extensive legal sources for federal and state cases and statutes, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions since 1790
  •  Unparalleled business information on more than 80 million U.S. and international companies

Researchers are not required to create a free account with Nexis Uni; however, individual accounts give researchers the ability to use personalized features including creating alerts, saved searches, bookmarking documents, a customized homepage and specialized search forms.  Resources including tutorial videos are available on the Nexis Uni support page.  A comparison chart is available about the differences between Nexis Uni and LexisNexis Academic.
